After mentioning that alcohol will appear in my music video, I needed to create a post in which I needed to explain how I will use alcohol. Alcohol is a very repetitive convention in Reggaeton music videos, this is usually being used at parties or when the artist is singing a depressive part of the song.

Depression in music videos are representative of the mood of the song. This is portrayed by the artists as they show the convention of people who suffer from depression continually experience feelings of sadness and hopelessness. Consequently, this can affect many aspects of life in which they might turn up to abuse alcohol

In my music video you will see Alcohol in a maximum of 3 shots as I don't want it to be a repetitive prop to use during the recording, as we are less than 18 years old I need to use a fake alcohol to substitute but the audience think that is real. After making different combinations I find out that a good substitute for whisky according to the colour is mixing Coca-cola with water, (It tastes very bad). This would make "alcohol" appear on my music video that would be linked to the lyrics of the song.

Overall I believe that the use of alcohol is a key prop in relation to the moment of the song and it will help the audience to understand what the artist is experiencing.
