Performance based videos are music videos that mainly focus on a singer or a band performing the song. This is mainly to the camera however at times can be to an audience i.e a recording of an actual real life concert performance in front of an audience. Narrative Based Videos

A narrative music video tells a story, it’s normally shown sequentially through a chain of events that are put together to run parallel to each other. At times it may even seem like a little film that stars the main character who communicates with the audience.

Concept based videos

Concept based videos are based on the artist’s ideas, it expands their creativity within the song that they have produced expanding the vision they have of their own song portrayed on a music video. As a result of creative concept videos, audiences remember these types of music videos because of its uniqueness.
