Performance Based Videos:
This type of music video shows the artists performing, although they don’t have to move or dance. If they are singing or playing their instruments then it is a performance video. Sometimes the lip-syncing can be done by either model as well as the artist.
An example of this in the Reggaeton industry would be Batman en Cam Am from Arcangel
Narrative Based Videos:
This type of music video shows are based on a story, can be linked to lyrics but, can also be random. It has a start middle and end to it and then comes to a conclusion. It can be like a short movie. This might be shown by the artist but, usually can be seen performed by a model because the artist would be performing the song. A purely narrative music video would have no singing and has followed a story.
An example of this in the Reggaeton industry would be Pero Ya No from Bad Bunny
Concept Based:
Another type of music video is based on an idea or a concept. It combines all the characteristics of the song. It can sometimes be very confusing and random and usually doesn’t have a story. It can be cool to watch since it will be unexpected.
An example of this in the Reggaeton industry would be Te Deseo Lo Mejor from Bad Bunny
