Location Reconnaissance

Location Reconnaissance is an essential part of the production process as my cast and I need to have a clear idea of the setting in which I will record my music video, this would make it much easier for me in order of preparing the types of shots, angles and camera movements I would use on my music video.

The mayority of the music video would be recorded on my uncles house, this is a great location for my music video as it is a 9million mansion in which the codes and conventions of reggaeton videos coincide and I would have many different location of the mansion to record, also this is a great idea as four of the seven (Kike, Bety, Casandra and Amy) that we are as a cast live on this mansion and volunteer to participate on the music video, this was great for me as they already knew very well the location that I will use for recording. Jacobo and Gonzalo, the other members of the cast and the main protagonists, after knowing in which location we were going to record, were amazed and anxious to start recording now and they agreed with me that this location was the best possible location to record a reggaeton music video.

Although I have the opportunity of recording on many different locations I think it would be easier to record on the same location in which I have the chance of many different types of shots and mise-en-scenes.
