Props List

In this post I will explain a list of all the props I would need for my music video. This will help me in order to portray the conventions of music videos.

- Luxurious Clothes: Burberry, Balenciaga, Nike, off-white etc..

A typical convention of Reggaeton is luxury clothing brands being worn by the artists, this gives an image of empowerment.

- Hummer H3 and BMW M4

I will use luxury cars as they are a common convention of Reggaeton music videos where we can see the artists being in the car, giving an image of being the owners of the cars emphasising an image of power and money. Two very well recognised artists from the genre, Anuel AA and Nicky Jam use minimum a luxurious car on their music videos, this are shown by the artists as art pieces which are fun to look at.

- Speaker

Key prop for the artists lip syncing process, this would be used during the music video recording but it won't be seen on screen.

Although I think it is going to be very difficult to do, I would like to include Fireworks in the background as I would be recording at night. This is an idea that has occured to me to include on my music video but it might not come up on my final piece.
